  • joy at the continuation!* | A different 'starting picture', which I didn't notice at first, though seemingly of little importance (though paranoia prompts me to wonder about that). | All characters are seemingly present... ah, it's also worth taking into account the hypothesis that all or some are not and/or were not the originals they are imitating, and so their death is meaningless. | Yanagi continues to be suspicious. The new memories: true or false? I wonder... ufufu. There's still the question of Daiya and the K-person whose name doesn't easily come to mind. | Daiya being able to guess Hoshino's class supports the hypothesis that he's fully aware of his own part (including knowing or choosing the classes of others) from the start. | Very interesting that no one has died, apparently, in the first two choices. Where might this lead...? As mentioned, Yanagi is a focus of suspicion, though this could be a red herring. (What if she killed herself, say, and blamed it on the person she met with?) | Curious regarding whether we'll ever find out what happened to the remembered two, if those memories are real. | Important to keep in mind that it's not guaranteed that these rounds are happening sequentially, one after the other, though it's seemingly suggested that they are by Daiya's foreknowledge of the knife-threatening. | Quite curious about 'what will be revealed' by the end of the volume/the third round (?).... *smiles* | Considering the immediate situation: at this point anyone using buttons will likely be identifiable, unless some way is used to fake a death method. I suspect that use of the knives will come into play as a substitute for the buttons, one way or another. Significant is that, in this 'search for the one holding the box', suspicion has been turned away from Daiya--which is presumably in line with his intention, taking this tactic to see how it plays out perhaps. Full understanding of his motivations is not yet present. Is it possible that he and Hoshino are the only two people there, I wonder? In that case, Hoshino presumably cannot die, as that might defeat the purpose of the game. If resurrection is possible, though, then he can die. Quite curious to see whether he ever does; this round, as mentioned, seems to mainly have shifted from 'search for the Revolutionary' to 'search for the box-owner'. It would be interesting if there at some point were a 'search for the King/{King-related people}'... that might be a little too much to hope for, though. In any case, very interesting! Thank you very much for the translations! *joy*

0 must be somewhere, he should be someone between the 6 in the first round i think he was Daya in the second round i think he is Kamiuchi

I just realised that the part at the end is the /sixth/ day; this shifts the focus of attention slightly towards 'starvation as an immanent threat'.

I'm starting to get really annoyed by what a flustered wimp Kazuki is. It wasn't as bad when he could get led around on a leash by Maria in the first couple volumes, but now that his composure is really being challenged, and there's a real antagonist that he has to face down in Daiya, he's really turning out to be a useless sack of wet towels. This series is still unbelievably awesome, but having the protagonist be so useless and malleable leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

  • Plus, if Kazuki had a bit of character development and became more assertive and intelligent, maybe he could finally catch Maria off-guard and their romantic/sexual tension could either be heightened to a meaningful feature, or even resolved in a romance arc. I just don't like it languishing the way it is right now.--Variance 00:20, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

First of all, this Round had me thinking "What the FUCK!?What the FUCK!? WhattheFUCKwhattheFUCKwhattheFUCK!? Seriously just wanted to raeg out loud :/

Second:

"And yet, she lamented to me, looking so shameful.
---It's painful.
She lamented. "

Shouldn't it be 'She had lamented?' MatrixM (talk) 16:17, 15 July 2013 (CDT)

I think I've figured out what's going now (didn't notice the player tag at the end of the previous Round) but the author is a massive troll for making me think things went completely batshit crazy there. MatrixM (talk) 16:47, 15 July 2013 (CDT)
