Just letting you know I changed Maou to Demon Lord and You to Yō per the guidelines in volume 2. The reason I am letting know is because those were major changes. Other than that I fixed mostly typos and some tenses. Are you using single quote or parentheses to mark character thoughts? You used single quotes initially, but later on they became parentheses. Should I change them to that? --Hiro Hayase (talk) 12:33, 10 June 2014 (CDT)

Actually I don't really mind the edits, since I am a fairly new translator if I say so myself. For character quotes though, I tend to use parentheses.

Okay thanks for replying, I will change the single quote character thoughts into parentheses now to match the rest of the volume. The app readers seem to prefer it too. xD --Hiro Hayase (talk) 19:34, 10 June 2014 (CDT)

Mondaiji-tachi Ga Isekai Kara Kuru Soudesu Yo - Edits

I was going through volume 2 chapter 8 when I saw this - 'Meowing, Calico cat went onto Kasukabe's arms. Being tortured by the heat from the fever, Kasukabe stretched out her arms and hugged Calico cat, thinking about her comrades, heading off to body.' I couldn't understand the last bit so I left it alone to ask you - 'thinking about her comrades, heading off to body'.

Okay thanks, I have emended it Drinkingwater (talk) 07:38, 2 July 2013 (CDT)

now that September is over (and most of the October too) do plan on starting the translations again?

No Game No Life

Thank you for translating NGNL! --Kai Ran (talk) 12:20, 26 October 2013 (CDT)

Thanks for translating NGNL!! when i started reading it i couldnt stop until i catched up with the translations. O.o, chess game was awesome [Treyon] 21:29, 11 April 2014

Are the "oh's" that appear in the character's dialogues part of their speaking pattern? I have noticed the "oh's" appear frequently in volume 1 (I have yet to check volume 2)and usually make the sentences a bit fragmented. Is there anything we can do to remedy that?

Here's some examples: "Hehe, although you should've understood by now, I will still emphasise it, the [Games] here are different from your world's internet chess oh? Indeed, I did lose to you siblings..."

"But.........I won't lose the next time oh?"

"...so please utilize this meaningfully oh."

"Little sister, I won't be lenient today oh. Today I will definitely make you regret that."

Hmmmmm. Might've been some bad habits when I've just started translating. Would definitely look into it.

Do you have a forum account its easier to talk there? I can show you some more instances.

I tried to removed the awkward "oh's" inside the dialogues to make it more cohesive in volume 2 such as in chapter 4. if you are fine with the changes, I can do them to volume 1 as well. --Hiro Hayase (talk) 14:16, 22 May 2014 (CDT)

In Volume 3 Chapter 3 ‎I changed death angles into blind spots. Blind spots worked better for the context you were aiming for I think.--Hiro Hayase (talk) 12:33, 10 June 2014 (CDT)
