"^^^^^^^^^^" = arrows pointing up. Saying to the effect if you are an editor you will get access to the early copy. And the fastest way to become one would be to edit chapter 1 on bt so that everything is in past tense except the conversations, and by fixing some of the run on sentences (Do not go too crazy making all of them or adding too many words.) That chapter was not done by me so I would like it flow with the other chapters a little more. To that other note I'm not offended, it's just that sometimes I have to explicit which sounds like I'm a jackass.Joegargery (talk)

NOPE. The anime covers it. Well, as best as any adaptation can. I'm more interested in what happened afterwords. Even thought Vol. 6 looks great from the prologue its more of a cool down from the epicness of Vol 5. So if i continue onwards it will be from where I left off. Joe I'd suggest you actually read through the changes to see if it makes more sense.

A "..." is not a full stop. The next word should not be capitalized unless its a name.

The few lines that were changed in chapter8 was because the previous lines was incorrect.

And if you are confused, you can easily compare revisions by clicking on the previous one and my latest one. The multiple entries are necessary because I'm editing a lot of the material, and saving it periodically ensures no work is lost. - Iro Daijoubu (talk)

The part that offended me was when you put "Myoznitnirn murmured" and took out "She is Myoznitnirn" two lines later completely changing the translation. It may make a lot more sense but it was not how it was written. As for the used with "... And" would of been most likely a start of a new sentence in the original Japanese version. The same would hold true for other parts too, but not all.

As for the previous chapter changing "He made her become like that" to "It was his fault" would never be right. Also "Having lost her spirit, she stood on the back of the gargoyle, as if entrusting her body completely to it." to "Louise's body was seen, carried on the back of a gargoyle, she seem to have fainted."

Well Joe don't be offended. I have the text with me and I can assure you there is no "She is Myoznitnirn" line. Ok? The whole section including "xxx" Myoznitnirn murmured right up to the end about the runes was one big paragraph. The Myoznitnirn name appeared once and that was in relation to what she said. That previous translation was wrong.

Ditto for the gargoyle. It doesn't say she stood on the gargoyle's back like Kate Winslet on Titanic, it just said she fainted and the gargoyle was carrying her.

Not changing the meaning of phases is fine if we're talking about the earlier volumes which had decent translations, but the later volumes had so many mistakes its not funny. - Iro Daijoubu (talk)

Just to mention that I don't exactly know how it works in English, but in many other languages capitalizing is mandatory after a ellipsis; from what I had heard, capitalizing after ellipsis in English depends on if what comes after it is grammatically the same sentence as what it comes before or not--Kemm (talk)

I've been taught that you shouldn't have capitols after the ellipse. If its a new sentence then I guess its fine. In Japanese for example there's no capitol letters.

Frankly, in good english writing you shouldn't even be using ellipses all over the place, its not the same as Japanese. - Iro Daijoubu (talk)
