First of all thanks for Translating Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance.

Second of all I am apart of the Audio Novel Projects The result of discussions between myself and some other enthusiasts in the forums, and what we aim to do is create audiobooks of translation scripts done by contributors. However, due to recent discussion, we've come to the conclusion that it is best to ask permission from the translators themselves, if their scripts can be used as Audio Novel bases, because of the section in the Translation Common Agreement that states that all translations belong to their respective translators.

Therefore, as respectfully as possible, I'd like to request permission to use your translation of Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance as a script as such.

Clarification of Deletion

Dear KuroiHikari,

To clarify the deletion, if content is on the users page:

i.e. Hayashi_s and as long as it is not breaching the Baka-Tsuki terms of conduct (illegal/offensive content) and within reason, it may remain on the user's personal page.

However the material that was deleted was not hosted on the user page, but linked outside to an entirely new page, if it was a constructive page that was related to any of the Baka-Tsuki approved projects/teasers or to facilitate the workings of Baka-Tsuki it would be tolerated.

However this new page was styled like a project, but did not meet the project minimum approval guidelines lacking both in the layout requirements, content and format of the page name to reflect the novels title. This project was also not tagged as a teaser nor finally was it not tagged as Pending and have been in this state for more than a few months.

It was with the points above, that i had concluded that the creator of the this project did not intend to have this project noticed by the staff or seek to have it approved and was therefore within my rights to delete.

If you find my conclusion flawed, please do not hesitate to inform me so that i may re-evaluate this decision correctly.

Best Regards,

Restoration project deleted by translator.

Dear Kuroihikari,

The restoration is an acknowledgment that the immediately deletion of the main index project page and registration page of that project was irregular and therefore restored and revived as a Teaser. Therefore in accordance to the teaser guidelines it will be given its opportunity within its deadline which as you mentioned will be a week.

However if it fails to meet the teaser requirement within that deadline it will be downgraded as a "front index" for alternative languages, following the example of the Fate/Stay Visual Novel (Front Index Page), as the project has not been "abandon" officially due to licencing of the novel, merely the withdraw of the script by the translator, so to tag it as "abandon" would be an miscategorization.

Regarding the Claim that Unnamed Translations plagiarized thenakedsol.blogspot.com

To whom it may concern,

I have read your post on the user talk, as well as the complaint on the page that was linked.

We would regretfully accept that the middle portion of the work was, as correctly pointed out, copied. Somehow or another the editor came to edit a completely different piece (which happened to be the first translation).

This has now been rectified with the original version (which, I suppose, can be called 'non-plagiarized').

While it is possible to blame the whole team, as the representative, I will take full responsibility for this, and I apologize to anyone offended.

Awaiting your response. Bowguyz

While I don't mean to jump in on this matter in any particular way or form (KH will be the one arbitrating), I'd like suggest that you spend a little time talking to User_talk:Steel_Maverick since he was the one who placed the complaint. You seem to regret your mistake, and it is my opinion that we shouldn't make a big deal out of this if you promise not to copy other people's work again. I've received a character reference from Absent who performs the official Baka-Tsuki facebook updates in favor of you guys, so I'd prefer to keep things simple.
