Wandering Shadow

Post by HolyCow »

Translation of Wandering Shadow has begun. There are some volleyball terms mentioned in the start that I THINK I got right (I've never played volleyball before, had to do the translation using the wikipedia article as reference), but if there's anything wrong please feel free to correct it.

I'll update more later, I'm too tired now. 5% is an ugly number :(

Woot! I've been waiting for this chapter for so long! Finally, we can remove that ugly red font for that link.

BaKaFiSh's right ;P

Since chapter 5 is awfully short (believe it or not, 1/3 the length of wandering shadow), I don't think I'll be in a rush to complete it. And BaKaFiSh still has chapter 4 to do anyways ;P

We all appreciate this Mr. Cow. I've been curious about this particular story for a long time now.

Oho, interesting prologue to the story. If there's one thing that's sure in the series, it's its applaudable faith to the theories of Finnigan (aka Murphy's Law).

Can't wait, can't wait!

"Anything bad that can happen, will."

.... Or at least that's what I always thought it was until I read this wiki entry.

Everything that can happen will happen. Or something along those lines.

I.e: The worst possible things will happen at the worst possible times... or... When you believe everything is going right, something bad will happen.

Like whenever you want to drive out of a junction, the entire world will pass by.

EDIT: Oh, it's Finagle! Not Finnigan.

The entire part you've translated shows how Kyon is starting to like the status quo and the good things from god paying so much attention to him.

However, certain scenes show that god's dependance on Kyon is getting looser. Foreshadowing! Kyon + god breakup!

w00t!

End of the world!

I tihnk it's just the opposite, actually. Haruhi clearly has a lot of interest in keeping Kyon close, otherwise she wouldn't be spending so much time tutoring him.
