About a half-hour drive from my house, it is very much a university town, with all the interesting eateries, bookshops and other such things for students. Probably the only place in Michigan where a person (not me) can walk in the street dressed for cosplay and nobody bats an eyelash. My daughter's done it...

Anime, steam-punk, renaissance faire and car themed stuff. Any and all of the above. My daughter designs and makes her own costumes.
