Dear Baka's, Baka-Tsuki Staffs, Readers and contributors.

Its a new year, and it will be time for a grand reform to sweep away the cobwebs and dust.

A spring clean if you will, so I need to have a list of things that need to be improved or problems that has yet to be addressed.

I hope to build a good list and hopefully have them all done by the end of this year.

Then 2009's list will be brought to head.

At this moment I have a few idea's that were brought to my attention last year but was not addressed.

* Add additional information on major pages to encourage translators to join. (information has yet to be drafted)

* Replacing the "Donation" link on the wiki with the "about us" page, which is current linked at the bottom in small fonts.

* Replace the "phpbb" logo on the forum with a "baka-tsuki" designed one.

* Clean out the memberlist of bots & "ZERO" post members.

Well that's all i can think of right now.

don't hesitate to add some of your own, mind you please keep them sensible, and spam like post will not be tolerated.

please keep them to the "zone" thank you.

You'll need SQL access... phpMyAdmin is very popular, but I'm not sure you have those kinds of tools :p

Make backups first.

Hmm...

But what if they're just lurkers?

I mean, I've seen some people on the forums that reply to PMs and whatnot, but don't post lols

Well if they just want to lurk around, invisible to all, then that's fine.

Just don't complain if you get runned over because your so good at being invisible

phpBB is a security deathtrap, so an upgrade is necessary.

MediaWiki, on the other hand, has been pretty stable. There probably won't be much major changes unless MediaWiki itself changes drastically (we will see the changes first in Wikipedia as they run the latest CVS all the time)

If you need any special function for both the forum or the wiki, just email me and I will see what I can do.

Maybe add a "Projects" page or something? You can advertise for translators there too...

And add the LOL wiki to the sidebar to if possible :P

A Projects page to...? The forum or the wiki?

What's LOL wiki? You mean adding a link of the wiki to the phpBB3 installation?

Nah, a projects page as in a page on the wiki to give a link and brief summary of our projects and their current status (ongoing but still recruiting translators, teasers requiring translators etc).

The LOL wiki is more of a forum joke :P

Heh, you should put in Sakura from D.C. as she is probably the one who started the stereotypical galgame->anime female ヤンデレ character
