Normally I wouldn't use a x.0 software release, but phpBB3 went through 10 Release Candidates before its release. I assume they know what they are doing

I have been testing phpBB3 for the past week for any incompatibility with the previous phpBB2 mods. Now that I solved all the known problems, I need people to test the user/group settings.

If you have forum account privilege that is higher than Users please email me.

Also, if all things go well, I will upgrade the server today or (most probably) tomorrow. This will take around 2 hours. The forum will be down as the upgrade is in process.

we got quite a lot of users here with account privileges above "user"

oh, if you upgrading the forum thing, does that mean you can change that silly "phpbb" logo up in the left hand corner?

phpBB3 is much more customizable. Its default template doesn't look that bad either.

anyone else who got the link from the Big Boss for the new forum example, make sure you reply back to the boss if you find any problems or what nots.

I like the new template, except for the fact that it doesn't resize to fit my screen.

What's the resolution of your screen?

1920x1200 The current one will auto-stretch out and it looks fine, but the new one only takes up about half the screen in the center. Though, that is just from the link you provided.

I don't know, the new template seems a bit too... blue-ish

I don't mind the template much >.>
