Hmm, which ones of this are licensed?

Tokyopop and Del Rey Manga are dead right?

Well, I'm not too familiar with the licensing stuff.
I've added them in now.

Re: Update on the translations

So I am new to light novel translations, and it seems like the translation time varies depending on multiple factors. My only question is, about how long does it take on average for a LN to be translated once the regular edition of it comes out?

As of right now I am reading Highschool DxD, and the regular edition has been out for over a month, I can imagine how difficult it can be to to translate an entire novel, than make sure it makes sense in another language, and than upload it to a website. I am just curious how long this process usually takes since I am new to this. I just wan to make my reading schedule, and not get to far ahead of myself to the point where I could end waiting 6 months until I get to read the next volume.

Thank you

The point is, there's no average time, it changes from translator to translator, novel to novel, there's no way I could tell you about average time of translations...

Well, if I'm not wrong Code Zero-san(DxD translator) said he would translate the entire novel in two weeks... but seeing the conditions of his computer I think it's impossible
Already has three weeks he said that, I think soon it'll be out...

Anyway, like I said, there's no way I could tell you average times... :|

:/

Regards

Since, there's only 1 factor in the translation: the translator.(You should find out who does DxD yourself) There's nothing I can tell you. There is no average. It really takes dedication. Besides too many factors can influence one's progress, nothing I say would be anything reliable.

From looking around and checking the dates of release and translation releases this is what I had suspected but I was not sure. Though this is very different from manga and anime translation, it is very interesting, guess you have to get to be familiar with the translator. It is a much more personal approach to translation, no wonder you guess are able to keep up so well as a team with all these LN.

I am and have been part of many communities in many different things not just anime, and this is one is very different and interesting. The personal aspect of this community creates a very unique atmosphere. Good job and creating and stabilizing such a great community.

My laptop died...... So I have to use my family's desktop and such.... And its really hard to translate if someone keeps on walking past me every 10 seconds or so.
Seriously. Why does lewd words have to appear in every sentence.
