Tanigawa Nagaru Interview

Hi, I'm a n00b here, though I've done a few small edits on the wiki page before. I'm not actually recommending a light novel or series, but rather an interview with Tanigawa Nagaru (the author of the Suzumiya Haruhi series) that I found on his Japanese wikipedia entry. I know this site is for light novels, etc. but given that it is also the prime source of Haruhi translations on the web and I couldn't find an English version anywhere else, I thought it might be worth recommending.

It seems pretty short (2 pages), so I don't think it would be too much of a hassle either. Anyway, I hope you guys consider it. Thanks!

I like the idea too but I can't do Jap --> Eng

Maybe you could ask GDsMDDLFNGR if he wants to do it

it's worth to do...you can know more about the author.
i'm an native Japanese speaker but my English skill is too poor...

but i think i can at least convey what he says.
can i take this?

You don't have to ask for any permission,
If there was more then one person who wanted to do this, then perhaps we will have to step in to resolve the conflict, but in this circumstance, there is no contest.

So please, we will be very happy if you will translate this for us.

Don't be worried about your English, as long as you can translate it into English, we will help you to correct it.

Maybe, even help you to improve it.

N.B: If you have any trouble with the Wiki, don't hesitate to contact a member of staff or simply asking for help here.

It doesn't sound poor from your post, but rather, it's pretty good

Don't worry too much about the grammar etc. We have editors to correct any mistakes you may make

or contact some authorities(though i dont know who they are)?
and where should i post the article and announce it when it has finished?

to post the article, please go to the wiki:

Register a user name. when you have done so, please privately message me, your user name, so that i can upgrade your account to "Translator" level.

then you can create a new page.

to create a new page simply type the name of the new page at the end, for example:

http://www.baka-tsuki.net/project/index ... le=[b]Type new page name here[/b]

Then click the tab at the top of the page labelled "edit" now add your text, and click "save change".

You may start when ever you like ,and finish when ever you like.

To announce it is finish, is up to you, you may do so on the Wiki or on the forum.

I noticed that the interview was translated and put on the main page.

May I suggest that the interview be moved into the Haruhi page? It makes more sense sitting there than on the main page. Maybe below volume 9?

nobody is stopping you from doing so, but the main page contains all the links, so it make sense for it to show up on it as well.
