Okay thanks.larethian wrote:I think he meant it's better to upload chapters in whole parts if you're planning to translate them anyway regardless of the feedback. It's not a must.
As what Lare said. Just my opinion.larethian wrote:I think he meant it's better to upload chapters in whole parts if you're planning to translate them anyway regardless of the feedback. It's not a must.
Check out some Maijo Otaro. Just read Drill Hole in my Brain. And from what I understand he's done even more bizarre ones.Ningyou is both the best and the worst of Nishio. Unlike mainstream works like Bakemonogatari where you still have some moe elements to balance out the bitterness, the whole story basically builds on his absurd writing that makes no coherent plot. In my opinion the closest novel to Ningyou is Kuuchuu no Buranco, but that one is still leagues behind Ningyou in terms of craziness.
Sadly it is kind of on the back burner due to the sudden influx of real-life translation jobs on top of my postgraduate study, internship and robot law researches. It is still okay for me to translate random teasers occasionally when I have a half-day break, but maintaining a consistent output every single day has become very difficult.Darklor wrote:So how is the progress?
So this project is stalled for now?Doraneko wrote:rpapo wrote:Perhaps zone's changes have made it more comprehensible, mainly because he understands the Japanese original better than I do, not because his English is any better than mine.
Anyway I don't have much confidence in either language and can't help much except poking you guys from time to time.
You also have my respects for being able to regularly work on this along with arguably (?) two full-time jobs. Lately I have been working as a full-time intern and can't even bring my concentration on my research essays, let alone B-T translation stuff.

The good thing is that at least things will turn better (hopefully) when the internship and my robot research end . The bad thing is that the internship is going to last for a while.Doraneko wrote:Sadly it is kind of on the back burner due to the sudden influx of real-life translation jobs on top of my postgraduate study, internship and robot law researches.
