well, if there is anyone who would like to translate this one, i don't think its that long and it should be much more complete than the "movie"

A tale of two people, Tono Takaki and Shinohara Akari, who were close friends but gradually grow farther and farther apart as time moves on. They become separated because of their families yet continue to exchange contact in the form of letters. Yet as time continues to trudge on, their contact with one another begins to cease. Years pass and the rift between them grows ever larger. However, Takaki remembers the times they have shared together, but as life continues to unfold for him, he wonders if he would be given the chance to meet Akari again as the tale embarks on Takaki's realization of the world and people around him.

The movie was pretty awesome, except I think the characters could have been... expanded (can't think of a better word) more. The characters is what really made the movie (in my opinion). It was still awesome though, although it was sad. Hopefully the novel is just as good.

i think the movie lack the same think as you said, and since the book cover more time, hopefully, it will have more character development's which i think is would make the book a lot better than the movie ^^

I don't think it need to translate anyway since it didn't much more than the movie and I think that the movie has a very depressing ending

From what I know, the original work is usually the best. Isnt this an anime to begin with? Anyways, feel free to vote as much as you want, but unless you find a translator for it, nothing will be done.
