Sword and Wizards

This story is like a mix between Rakudai Kishi no Eiyuutan and Saijaku Muhai no Shinsou Kiryuu

The male protagonist is a master swordsman and one of the few people skilled at melee combat. As such the school of magic asks him to come there with his expertise as magic is losing its effectiveness on demons and they are searching for other methods of killing the demons. The main character is a bit shameless due to his bro-con sister.
It seems to be an interesting story , but so far only the prologue and the first chapter have been translated. If you are interested you can read it at this http://unlimitednovelfailures.mangamatt ... d-wizards/, also if it is picked up the other translator has requested to be notified of it as he likes to work alone.

The reason I posted this is that in two years there has been no updates, and the translator seems to have forgotten about the series completely. I hope that someone would give it a try as it seems to be good. Also it is a Japanese novel.

I would recommend building up a little more information on the novel, maybe include a cover image or the like, to help spread the word. As far as what's been translated, it's listed as a teaser on that site, much like how our own system works. Additionally, while it would be somewhat pointlessly polite, if someone here decided to pick this up and translate it themselves, they don't have to let him know at all. And amusingly, as I am writing this, I read this on the FAQ:
Q: Will you post your translation on Baka-Tsuki?
A: No. Though I have nothing against them, I just prefer to work alone.
That pretty much answers an important question to start with: project linking would not be allowed.

I tried posting the title picture but couldn't get it to work. Also the brief description is because only the prologue and chapter 1 have been translated. All I can suggest is to check out the link as it contains the translated chapters and the title picture.

If you had read the release post for chapter 01, you would have noticed that I "officially" abandoned the series due to lack of interest on my part.

Not sure what you mean, but my TsukiTsuki Project is being linked on Bakatsuki just fine.
I simply meant that I see no need to copy/paste my translation onto Bakatsuki again, when it's already uploaded on my homepage.

Sorry PROzess but I was never able to read the entry since it goes away as more posts are added.

There's a "View Older Posts" button at the very bottom.

When you know for what you have to look, you can find it too ;)

True, but imo, it is not really all that uncommon for blogs to only display a certain set of post until an "older posts" button appears.

I don't really use blogs except for now as I thought this novel looked interesting as it falls into the magic/martial arts/ecchi category. Usually this mix is a good read; so I thought would try to post this as you can see I couldn't even figure out how to put up the title picture.

Unfortunately, the chapters I translated say very little about the actual plot. The story gets somewhat better later on with some fights and harem antics. Though it's nothing revolutionary and by no means another Shinmai/HxH.

I interpreted that answer to mean that you didn't want your project on the wiki. I was unaware that you had a project linked here already as well. Useless copy/pasting makes more sense. Disregard my concern. :?
