That´s awesome anyway! :o Even if the it´s left off at volume 1, someone else who owns the novels too would be able to help upload translations for the rest of the series, right?

Don´t worry, I know. I´m just saying that if does, it´d be easier for other translators to help complete it :) .

Sounds awesome. I recently finished the anime and am absolutely starved for more Ben-To content of any kind. Since I know there won't be any more seasons of the anime, and there are only 5 chapters of the manga serving as a prequel, I'm now turning to the original source material - the light novels. I even hear that in time, in the light novels, my favorite character Ume
Spoiler! :
actually gets to fight. In fact, if anyone knows more about the story where Ume fights, could they detail what happens? I'd love to read all about it.
Looking forward to see if any translation efforts progress. Much appreciation to anyone who puts their time forward for it.

Someone? Anyone? Please? Finished the anime this morning and I'm hooked. This needs to happen. It's criminal that this hasn't been translated yet.

I really can't take it seriously, it's about people fighting over half-price left over food and still have the audacity to call people who don't fight "dogs". At least have some sense of humor about that concept.

So I picked up the translation, Chinese to English anyways...
Can someone provide me with the character names in English and Chinese?
Because I am not really sure what their names are in Chinese.
and anyone knows what on earth is this?
著莪菖蒲 i translated this into a kind of plant, or the iris of a plant, and I am not aware of any idioms regarding this.
on a side note, novel is hosted here,
