Hyouketsu Kyoukai no Eden for starters. C.E even gave B-T permission to host their works as long as it is 'Locked from Edits' viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4711 He explains it. http://www.baka-tsuki.org/project/index ... monogatari is an example of it already on B-T

Again, they gave us explicit permission for that translation. We have them linked on our main page to easily get to their blog, however, just because they did it for one series does not mean they will do it for another necessarily. Consider it an attraction or reason to go visit something, if they should want to use it that way.

Not being aggressive or anything but in the first link I gave you he says he only want's "full control" in other words locked. I can ask him personally and such if you desire. Anything to help B-T

I can see what you are saying, however he doesn't explicitly say we can share them...he does say that he want's full control....however, to do that you'd also have to make sure he can edit the uploads you put up for him and lock everyone else from editing it, which only certain users on the wiki can do. Go ahead and shoot him an email and ask him if it would be okay to post his translations on B-T, where we would have them locked. It is entirely up to him there, if he can't edit them, then odds are it is a no. But, there is always hope.

Ip, I suggest that we put only the link. The problem with your proposal is that it's a disadvantage to CE, since most people will directly go read the translations on BT, and the views per day of the blog will get down. The thing with CE is that it produces titles that BT doesnt have, like Onii-Ai, Sayonara Piano or Eden. It's also a review blog. So, we cannot host every project of theirs, and would be insulting to do so...

However, as I said, why not make a wiki page with all the possible blogs of LNs, separated, and accessible on the sidebar with the title "Other LNs" or something like that? It would be fine, right?

LP, It's better to be save that sorry right? Just think it as that. I also agree with Quira. Any Light Novels BT did not translate should be placed in another paged called Other LN or such where the list could be made with links to the translator's homepage.

Hey guys Yeb here, one of zgmfx09a's editors, and this topic caught our attention and he asked me to reply that he would like it if you didn't post his translations (Nadeko and Ore Imo are ok) on B-T please, he's at school now but he'll post his own reasons later. Thanks for understanding.

But he is ok with us linking to his site correct? Not hosting. Thus he has complete control.

And to dark here's another list of sites:

Kizumonogatari and soon To Aru Majutsu no Index?
http://okazu.blogspot.com/search/label/ ... a%20Miteru

I know about them. Spent over an hour on Mangaupdates tagging "Novel" on everything that was a novel, and it ended up getting deleted... Oh well, I never actually noticed there was a search button for it. Now I know :)

Also there are plenty of sites not on mangaupdates. Example. I don't think that Untuned Strings are there...

Again, some of us certainly do know that these exist, however, some have refused our offer to host translations or link them.

It's just that simple.

If you want to, post links to sites that are translating novels, and I'll have our admins email them asking about hosting / linking, however, there is way too much upkeep to do all of those series. (Also, half of those are already on here....)

I could also help in emailing them asking if they would like to be linked, I'll even forward the emails to the admins so they can double check. Less work for them.

Please don't jump the gun without Oni or TLG's go-ahead. And not everyone checks the forums every few hours. We have some of the translations already hosted, and some pending communication, like Toshokan Sensou. Posting those links are good, but I already mentioned that you need to give things time to move. There are also outdated links, and some of the sites are too disorganized and cluttered to make them useful. And if you look at some of those websites, they are pretty much dead with their last update a long time ago, and like what Hocchan said, many are not new to us.

I've only agreed to BT hosting oreimo and bakemono because they are not my main projects. Just something I did for fun.

It's kind of pointless for me to start a blog myself, then have it hosted on BT. Also, there are cases where I need to modify things, like for example the latest Iris -> Ilis case.

I don't mind links, because to be truthful, why would I? It gives me more traffic.

Thanks for clearing that up man, and I visit your site every single day. ;]
As I was saying, I don't see how sites refuse to be linked but I guess I have to take the words of someone else that they do...
