Well I've been looking around for info on the Kanokon light novel and kept seeing it was licensed by seven seas ages ago, but i have some difinitive news on that. they have stated that they have no plans to put out the Kanokon light novel as per the last comment by the site admin on their own boards in the link below.

So given this information, does that mean Kanokon is back on the table for titles that could be considered?

Not here. Try contacting some manga translators who accept commissions, but not at Baka-Tsuki.

Kanokon ( Light Novel )

Synopsis (Taken from wikipedia) : Kanokon's story revolves around Kouta Oyamada, an extremely innocent young first-year high school student who moves from the country to the city and thus transfers to Kunpō High School. On his first day at his new school, he meets a beautiful second-year female student named Chizuru Minamoto. Chizuru asks him to meet her alone in the music room. When he arrives, she tells him that she is in love with him and accidentally reveals to him that she is in fact a fox spirit. Chizuru constantly and openly flirts with Kouta, even in front of others, which embarrasses him greatly. Soon after the story begins, a wolf spirit named Nozomu Ezomori transfers into Kouta's school and class. From day one, she is all over Kouta which serves to embarrass him more and cause Chizuru to become annoyed at her new competition for Kouta's affection.

The are currently 15th Volumes out but none translated the manga has 9 volumes which are finished but the light novel is still on going . Would be nice to take at look at it and if people get interest to give it a shot .

The Novel was licensed for english but then removed from the company who did it I haven't quite checked out why but it shouldn't be anymore .

I would like to add that if there are really people who are serious about the project and there isn't a possibility to find the raws for free I'm willing to invest and buy and scan all the 15th volumes which are out till now ^^ .

As I said don't worry about the raws and donation's told you it's not a problem for me to get the original ones if the project gets serious ^^

This section aims to draw out interest to translators (anyone who can translate) to work on a suggestion.

Under the rules for the guidelines.
5) The must important point, you MUST have a willing Translator who must register on this forum, and verify in a written post.
Unless one of you guys find a willing translator, or someone, who can translate, wants to translate and does so, this will pretty much stay in this section.
