A world where people of Low-Class, people of Middle-Class, and people of High-Class are obligated to live separately. Born near the bottom of the underground of slums, living in the solitude of violence and plundering since small, is to becoming seventeen years old boy Jeifa who hates people living peacefully above the ground. Escaping from the underground and entering the Middle-Class City, at the same time he attempted to steal from one of a mansion there. But he encountered a girl named Fuyuse Harutsuki and then abruptly arrested. Instead of submitting Jeifa, a certain condition is placed on him. That is, together with Harutsuki, participate in "Wizard & Warrior with Money", a professional competition where Wizard and Warrior work as pair and fight against opponent pair!? With no means to escape, Jeifa agreed to condition imposed by Fuyuse Ichirou. However, his supposed to be partner, Harutsuki closed her mind to him, not telling anything about herself. But soon Jeifa will know the unfortunate circumstances of Harutsuki, slowly attracted to her lonely self, overlapping against each other.

is there any similarity in theme with the anime [C]: Control - The Money of Soul and Possibility?

or just a similar title?

If you ask me, the title isn't even that similar. Sounds like a completely different series, and it sounds pretty interesting, to boot.
