Well I contacted thelastguardian with a copy of the compiled volume 1 that I did in word document. Included the illustrations, translator notes, and editor notes into it. I layed it out in book format with the chapters as new pages and the small images as an entire page.
I did it for myself so I can easily save the volume for myself but decided I would share the work I did compiling it by release on a either a torrent or some rapidshare method here to the public if thelastguardian approves the release. And I plan to do the volumes in order as they are completed just as I have done with volume 1.
If approved it will just be a small token of appreciation for those that brought us this great novel to us in english for all of us english readers only. Thanks translators and editors for Suzumiya Haruhi novels
well for one thing what ever response you recieve from TLG, I'll like to thank you on behalf of the Baka-Tsuki Project for your all your hard work.
I would like to see it in pdf format too, if TLG does approve of it, please email/p.m me I'll set up some sort of new subforum somewhere for the link here.

oh dammn. I just moved house, so my copy of the pdf file is stuck on my other computer I haven't yet set up.

Excellent, I was storing book one as individual text and image files, this is much nicer. Of course if and when Haruhi is licensed I'll be able to pick it up in actual book form. But until then, this is great.
