I hear from some friends of mine that you can get some good deals in China for that kind of stuff if you know what you are doing. However, I hear that even those that know what they are doing screw up occasionally...big time.

Well, Haruhi was the main series that tied this site together. There are still projects going on as far as I can tell, they just don't get the same level of attention now that Haruhi's kinda-sorta over.

expecting altavista (or anything else, for that matter) to approach decency would have you wait until what you want to understand has become largely pointless (like, 20-40 yrs into the future..)
