The supervisor is the personn who approved the project as an official one, so they are only a few official supervisors So as long as the project is still a preview, it will lack a supervisor....

(Or maybe is that an administrator? Well those two positions aren't very well defined, but they don't really matter to the translation anyway. It's just for management's purpose.)

Well the problem is there already is a saganatsu on the forum, so I'm a little lost.

I don't really know what happened there, but if you can log on the wiki using saganatsu account, then it's no problem, for sure.
You may then add you as project's supervisor, that's true.

You may even have power to make that project an official one.

1) I don't have the ability to make this a full project: that's only Thelastguardian, Onizuka-gto, Darkoneko, and Velocity7 (who does visual novels).
2) with regards to the original Saganatsu account... I kinda mangled it to the point where no matter what I did I couldn't login anymore. thus this account.
3) because of that, with regards to Rain, I can't send PM's yet. So the request to make this a full project is going through the wiki-email system, and because of this might take a while.

Wow, didn't think there would be this much interest in this project considering this thread was dead until recently. I checked with the translator and she says since there is already a translator working on this project, she will hold it off for now though she might join in and start translating up from vol5. I urged her to open a forum account so don't be surprised if she picks up something she likes from the suggestions board.

The supervisor is the person who wants to manage the project, ideally it would be the main TL, since he's most familiar with the project. If not, it'll just be a person, keeping check on the translators' status and progress.

For a very long time, many projects have not had any supervisors, in name or wiki supervisors. So, you don't really need to bother about it. Just 1 complete chapter and a proper project page is sufficient.

Actually, all projects are to be approved by admins, not supervisors. Admins are like the high prophets to the high council, while the supervisors are the elites.

And also, if there's no supervisor listed, the default admin and supervisor will be Onizuka-gto.

So, what's the exact difference between the Supervisor and the Admin of a project, now?

Project Supervisor: resolves disputes, stops edit warring, if the registered translator for a chapter disappears without finishing the chapter, contact this person to take over the chapter.
Project Admin: moved project from Pending/Teaser to full. I think he also get's involved when the project supervisor can't be found. admins deal with stuff above supervisors: takedown requests, files which break the server, stuff like that.

I think it wouldn't be a bad thing to have at least two translators, so even if both aren't translating it, the other can do a really good job editing the translator's work...

I like this novel. The mc is no push over and the princess is confident and reliable without a bit of arrogance(and will not wait to be saved). Very rare trait for a princess
