I hope so because this series is interesting.
Since June '11 there was no progress so I fear not...
yep, the updates for the translation probably stop already since 1 year passed with no results. Where's the translator guy anyway? He's like MIA from Baka-Tsuki.....

so yeah i totally forgot about this LN for awhile, but since the manga is being translated i remembered about it and came to see if anything else was translated while it was collecting dust in my brain. to my dismay nothing progressed so.....waiting game begins i suppose.....*next century later* *wind blowing*

and i'll say the manga is a good read and i look forward to future translations of the light novel since it looks good

This is an absolutely awesome series from what I've read of the manga. I really look forward to reading the actual novels and hope the selfless and hard working translator(s) on this project continue with the excellent work they've started.

Hello. I have been a reader of Baka-Tsuki Translations for years....
Despite everything this is my very first post in the forums, I am ashamed to admit I never did anything but read the translations that were turned out.

Well I have been waiting for this one series for years to no avail. So Just last month I decided I wanted to help.
Well I have finally bought myself a copy of Atlas v14 to assist in translations. YES, I KNOW, that it is not the best tool, for that matter I have NEVER translated ANYTHING else ever before. (From Japanese at least)
But I want to assist. If any of you who are/have translated this have any updates to Atlas to help me in helping you, I would be most indebted.

Also as I have not read anything past the first page, I am not certain if anyone has posted full raws of this, so I will ask for them if anyone has them.
In the meantime as I have no idea where to begin, and do not wish to step on any toes, I would like to ask where I should begin.
If I receive no reply, I will simply start from the whatever is chronologically first in the story from what I find in this thread.
Also this is obviously only AFTER I have followed the proper procedure to sign up as a translator for baka-tsuki.

Sincerely,
Thank you

P.S. I have VERY little knowledge on military terms, so I do hope you do not chastise me greatly at any errors I may make in my translations, and would appreciate any corrections.

I'm going to discourage you on this. Machine TLs may work for short simple sentences, but they'll definitely mess up for everything else. If you're still going through with this, at least learn Japanese grammar.

Thank you very much for trying to do this,

i can't wait for the result.

i will not chastise you for any error you did.

because, after all is said and done, i am receiving a favor from you, not the other way.

as such, i will be a good leecher and wait patiently, and be grateful for your work.

once again, thank you.

i really really love this story.
