the rest of my will has been described in release notes. And sorry again the sources scripts on odf and pdf.
But when I converted it to pdf something went wrong. No .txt because when I copy from odf to to txt the formatting become much crappier.

This is the long awaited volume 13 of chapter 7.
Sorry last time I pulled because I wasn't sure with the translation precision. So naturally this time the quality should be improved, especially with the precision of the translation.

I would also like to say sorry, I'm keeping the raw with this edited version. Beleive it or not deleting the raw line manually took a fair amount of time.

Chapter 7, Door World


　明後日に教皇即位記念式典を控え、水精霊騎士隊《オンディーヌ》は大聖堂の中庭で”訓練”におおわらわだった。式典に出席するアンリエッタを護衛するため、というのは表向き、アンリエッタと教皇の敵をとっつかまえるために呼ばれたのだと聞き、大はりきりである。
In according with the commemoration of pope coronation ceremony, knight corps of the water spirit is practicing with high vigor in the courtyard. From outward performance they were called to escort Henrietta that will attend the ceremony. But in reality the true aim is to seize the enemy of both Henrietta and Pope. That's why, they are in high spirit when knew that.

「陛下は、栄えある任務に我らを選んでくださったのだ！」
“For this honored duty Her Majesty has choosed us!!“
　マリコルヌが叫ぶと、一斉に、おー！　と掛け声が飛ぶ。
Malicorne shout, immedietely followed with loud cheers.
「教皇の御身を狙う悪辣《あくらつ》なガリアの異端どもの陰謀を食い止めろ！」
“Stop the conspiracy from the evil villain Galia that endangering His Holiness the Pope!.”
　再び、生徒たちは声を合わせて叫ぶ。
Once again, voices of young pupils echoed.

「陰謀を食い止めろ！」
“To stop conspiracy!“
”虚無”の件を除いた計画を、アンリエッタは水精霊騎士隊に説明した。

　今度の式典は、そんなガリアに潜む異端の攻撃を誘うものである。

　その敵を、ロマリアは総力をあげて捕まえる。

　したがって、水精霊騎士隊は、全力でそれを援護すること。

　敵そんなガリアに潜む異端の攻撃を誘うものである は恐ろしい魔道具を使用する。
The Enemy, Galia the one that will be labeled as Heretic most likely will used demon force. (the actual literal translation would be evil tools)
　トリステイン水精霊騎士隊においては、十分に注意してかかるように』
That's why knight corps of the water spirits of Tristain get extremely careful.

　そんなアンリエッタからの命令に、水精霊騎士隊の士気は否応《いやおう》なしに盛り上がっていた。なんといっても魔法学院で得た汚名を返上するチャンスである。その上、この件で手柄をあげれば、故郷に凱旋《がいせん》できる！
Because the order comes from Henrietta directly, the spirit of knight corps of water spirits rose to the culmination point. But of course the main reason they become so, is because it is a good chance to restored their disgraced honour in Magic Academy. If they successfully accomplished this mission, they could come home with triumph looks!.
　しかし……、先月アルビオンでミョズニトニルンと戦い、その実力を知っている隊長のギーシュは気が気ではない。
However......., the other day in Albion when battling Myuzonitonirun. Having tasted combat power of the enemy, the Knight Captain Guice couldn't helped but feel uneasy.
　そんなギーシュは、さっきから落ち着きがなく、指示を出すのも上の空だった。
That Guiche, from before couldn't calmed down himself, continue to gave instruction while gazing at the sky.
　騎士隊は、大きなゴーレムを相手に戦闘訓練を行っていた。何人かいるライン・メイジにできる限り大きな土ゴーレムを作ってもらい、それを相手に攻撃魔法をぶつけるのである。
The knights gentleman, creating simulation of the actual battle by using big golem as sparring partner. Any line class mages can made earth golem with this size. These sparring partner was used to landed magic attack.
「あんなんで、大丈夫かね。サイト」

　ギーシュが、心配そうな声で隣に立った才人《さいと》に尋ねた。
Guiche with worried voice, asked Saito who was standing beside.
　目の前の水精霊騎士隊は、大きなゴーレム相手に、攻撃魔法を放ち、やれ当たった外れただの、ぼくの魔法がとどめをさしたいやぼくのだ、と大騒ぎである。接近戦ではそれなりに強くなった水精霊騎士隊《オンデイーヌ》だが、やはりどうにも魔法の才能はそれほどでもない違中だった。

　ライン・クラスのゴーレムにさえてこずっている。

　人間が相手ならいざ知らず、どんな魔法を使ってくるのかわからないガリアの敵……、ミョズニトニルン相手には通用しないだろう。
Those mortals even doesn't have a clue what kind of magic that will be used by Galia forces......, Myuzonitonirun.
「まあ、無理だろうな。でも、手柄をたてたがってるあいつらに見てろとも言えないしな」
“Whatever, it is futile probably. But the efforts those guys shows to archive results quite admirable.“
　冷静に戦力を分析して、才人《さいと》が言った。正直、仲間たちをこんな戦いに巻き込みたくはない。でも、アンリエッタの命令とあらば仕方ない。何せ彼らは、アンリエッタの近衛《このえ》隊なのだ。そして自分も……。
Calmly analysis the differences in the combat ability, Saito said that. Truthfully, I don't want to involve them. But it is an order from Henrietta, there is no helping it. These guys too have their pride as parts of imperial guards forces. As for me.......
　聖地を取り返すことに反対した負い目のようなものもある。もし、ガリアが手を出す気でいるならば……、なんとしてでもこの計画は成功させなくてはいけない。

「まあ、最後は俺《おれ》がなんとかするよ」

　才人は、背中に背負ったデルフリンガーと、ＡＫ小銃の重みを感じながら言った。護衛任務につくということで、才人たちは特別に聖堂での武装を許されることになったのだ。
Saito said that while feeling the weight of AK riffle and Derflinger carried on his shoulder, as parts of protecting duty, Saito and fellow has been permitted to use any special weapon in the temple werehouses.
　どれか銃を持っていたほうがいいな、ということで、才人はロシアのＡＫ小銃を選んだ。こいつが一番頑丈で壊れにくい、と武器に勘の働くデルフリンガーが教えてくれたのだ。
It's better if I could have some of these weapon, and so Saito choose Russian made Ak-rifle. This guy have the most destruction power, Derflinger told him so from the instinct he perceived.
「ぼくも全力をつくす気でいるが……、エルフにあのバカでかい騎士人形。もしかしたら、今度ばかりは生きて帰れないかもしれないな」

　ギーシュはせつなげに、空を仰いだ。

As for Guiche, continued gazing at the sky.

　昼食の時間になった。たっぷりと汗をかいた騎士隊の少年たちが、どやどやと食堂になだれ込んでくる。先に席について才人たちを待っていたルイズは、その中才人の姿を見つけ、頬《ほお》を思いっきり膨らませた。
When it's the time for launch break. Gentlemens of knight corps of water spirit were full of sweat, tiredly walking to dining room. In the seat inside was Louise who waited for Saito and fellows. When she saw the figure of Saito in the middle, suddenly her face cheek shows sign of displeased.
　そんな風にぷりぷりしていると、才人が隣に腰掛けた。
With that angry mood, she took a sit beside Saito.
「まだ機嫌悪いのかよ」
“Still have bad temper?”
　当たり前じゃない、とルイズは思った。
Of course it is, Louise thought.
　敵の矢面に立つのはサイトだ。アンリエッタも教皇も、それは十分承知の上のはず。一番危険な任務を押しつけられているくせに、ちっとも嫌がらないサイトが頭にくるのである。
The one who will confront the enemy directly is not Henrietta or the Pope, she understands that fully. Even thought the person that bear the most dangerous task is him, could you show sign of dissatisfaction a little bit.

　そりゃあ、ガリアの”虚無の担い手”とはいつか決着をつけなきゃいけないけど……。
I understand, we have to settle the score with Galia void user. But........
　今の自分だってあまり役には立たない。なにせ、精神力が溜《た》まっていないのだから。

　ルイズは、思わず強い調子で言ってしまった。
With strong tone Loise said.
「ねえ」
“Hey.”
「ん？」
“Huh?”
「もっと自分を大切にしなさいよ」
“Try to value yourself a little bit!”
　ルイズが言うと、才人《さいと》は笑った。
Saito laughed when Louise said that.
「なによ。なにがおかしいのよ」
“What's with you, is it strange?”
「いや……、この前と逆だなって思ってさ」

「ほら、アルビオンでお前が捨《す》て駒《ごま》になりそうだったとき……」

　ルイズは才人の耳をつかむと立ち上がる。

　食堂を出て、廊下の隅にまで才人を引っ張っていき、そこで強い調子で言い放つ。

「あのねえ！　危険さではあんときと変わらないのよ！　いや、もっと危険だわ。わかってる？　敵は虚無の担い手を狂《ねら》ってる……、そのわたしたちが三人集まってるの！　きっと本気で来るわ。今までみたいには、きっといかないわ！」

「知ってるよ。そんなのは百も承知だ。そんなこた、戦った俺《おれ》が一番よくわかってる」
“I know that, with hundreds better understanding than you. The one who did the fighting was me, So I understand that.
「だったらどうして安請け合いなんかしたのよ！　はっきり言うけど、敵の矢面に立つのはあんたよ！　教皇聖下もティファニアも、言っちゃなんだけど戦いで役に立つとは思えない！　ジュリオだって弱くはないわ。でも、所詮《しよせん》は獣を操るヴインダールヴ……。戦いに向いている使い魔ではないわ！」
“Then why you promised to help without thinking!, I said it again, it's you who charge the enemy directly. Whether Henrietta or the Pope, they are not the true fighting potential isn't it!. Julio is not a weak. But after all that person combat abilities is Vandalfr Command Beast..... When the fight really began, in the end his familiar will do the fighting!”
　ルイズは声を落とした。
With depressed voice Louise says.
「……ほんとにわかってるの？　いざ戦いになったら、真っ先に狙《ねら》われるのは今まで敵に煮え湯を飲ませてきたあんたなのよ。確かにあんたはガンダールヴ。“神の盾”なんて呼ばれてる。でも……、わたしにとっては、ただの一人の男の子よ。姫さまだろうが、教皇聖下だろうが、盾なんかにはさせないわ」

Somehow, it's something like that, that's way I thought it was okay to do the best.”

「サイト！」
“Saito!”
「そう。今まで”誰かのために”なんて一度も考えたことがなかった。随分のん気に生きてきたよ。でも、こっちに来て……」
“Right. Until now I was always thinking living for whom?. I always couldn't understand that. But when I came here.....”
　才人はルイズを見つめた。
Saito fixed his gaze at Louise.
「なんとなくわかってきたんだよ。誰かのために生きるってことが。だから俺は逃げない。自分一人が危険なら、そりゃ逃げるさ。あほらしい。戦って、なんの得になるってんだ。でも、そうじゃない。危険にさらされているのは、俺の好きな人だ。だから俺は戦う」
“Less of much I pretty much understand that. For who I am live, so I won't ran away. But when I was alone facing danger, I think I would ran. Perhaps that's a foolish act. What could be gained in fighting?. But, that's not it. When the person I like endangered. I will fight.”
　ルイズは頬《ほお》を染めた。
Louise cheek blushed.
　でも……、ここで言い負かされるわけにはいかない。
But......... I can't lose here.
“いつまでもいっしょにいたい”
“I want to be always together with you.”
　そう思わせてくれた少年を、つまらない戦いで失いたくない。なんとか説得しようと言葉を探したが、うまく見つからない。
That's how a boy would thinking, didn't want to lose in an unimportant fight. That words he said, should be some kind of persuasion, but he can't find the right sentences.
「サイト……」と顔をあげたら、後ろから名前を呼ばれた。

　振り向くと、アニエスが立って、ルイズを見つめていた。

「陛下がお呼びだ。“始祖の祈祷《きとう》書を持って、すぐに来い」

　と言い残し、歩き出したアニエスのあとを追った。

　才人《さいと》は、食堂に戻るために歩き出した。ああ言ったものの、そりゃ危険な目にはあいたくない。それが本音である。

　午後の訓練はどういったメニューにしようか、などと考えながら歩いていると、息せき切って走ってきたコルベールに出くわした。

　コルベールに用意された部屋にやってきた才人は、目の前にあったものを見て目を丸くした。そこに転がっていたのは、巨大な黒いバッテリーだった。

「な、なんでこんなものが……」
“How could this thing......”
　もしかして、昨日ジュリオに連れられていった武器倉庫にあったんだろうか？　だが、まだコルベールには話していない。
Could it it yesterday Julio brought the weapon from that warehouse to here?, but Colbert shouldn't have knew that yet.
　しかし、その疑問はすぐに解けた。
But soon after his doubt vanished.
「こんなものって……、これは竜の羽衣、あの“ひこうき”についていたものじゃないか」

　きょとんとした顔で、コルベールが言った。

「これが？」

　才人はまじまじとバッテリーを見つめた。なるほど、よくよく見れば現代のバッテリーに比べたら大きく、そして全体の印象は古臭い。

　かたちはほぼ現代の車やバイクに使われているバッテリーと同じなのだが、よく見ると、漢字で『三菱《みつぴし》蓄電池三二型　昭和十八年六月』と書いてある。

　ゼロ戦に積んであったものに間違いないだろう。

「もしかして……、これで電源を入れたんですか？」

　するとコルベールは首を振った。

「いや……、そうではない。いいかね、きみはこのノートパソコンは”電気”で動く、と言っただろう？　しかし、今は切れている。だから、動かない、と」

　話すうちにコルベールは興奮してきたらしい。どこの世界も技術者は同じである。成功した自説を語り始めると、夢中になってしまうのである。
Colbert talked excitedly, showing similar attitude with any scientist that successfully reach a conclusion after a series of experiment and want to publish it to the world. Seeming in a trance.
「まず、あの“ひこうき”も、電気を使うことに気づいた！　それでもって、計測器や照準器、そして”えんじん”の中で揮発した油を爆発させているのだ。そして、“ひこうき”で使う電気は、この箱の中につまっておる」

「じゃあ、ゼロ戦の発電機を繋《つな》げたんですね！　すげえ！」

「いや、それは無理だ」

　あっけなく、コルベールは首を振った。
Colbert quickly shaked his head.

“Why?”
「なんというかな、同じ電気でも、こののーとぱそこんを動かす電気と、ひこうきを動かす電気は違うのだ。こっちの方は、より複雑な電気を必要とするようだ。ひこうきの装置と電気箱を使おうとしたわたしの目論見《もくろみ》はもろくも崩れ去った」
“How should I say it, it's the same electricity. But the electricity needed to moving this notebook (hiragana) and the one that is used for moving that aircraft is different. More complicated electricity type is needed. If we forcing to connected it with that electric box, it could be broken.”
「……え？　じゃあ、どうやって」

　コルベールはにやっと笑った。

「魔法だ」
“Using magic.”
「魔法？」
“Magic?”
「要は、こののーとぱそこんについているこの電気を溜める箱が、電気を発生するようにしてやればよいのだ。そこに気づいたわたしは、“ひこうき”のバッテリーを調べた。電気が流れない状態と、流れる状態を比較し、中の成分を調べた。そして……、その研究成果を応用したのだ」
