The wraparound jacket band on the second volume of Yukari Higa's Zero no Tsukaima Chevalier manga is announcing this month that the final series of the Zero no Tsukaima light novel franchise has been green-lit as a television anime. Zero no Tsukaima Kessakusen, selected episodes from previous Zero no Tsukaima anime, will air this October. The story follows a budding magician, nicknamed "Louise the Zero" due to her initial ineptness at magic, who accidentally summoned a boy from Earth as her familiar.

It sounds like theyre going to reair previous episodes.
It also sounds like that theyre will work on on new episodes.
Im guessing theyre reairing the old episodes for 1) review the major plot points of the series as a whole and 2) generate interestin the series again. So expect a reairing in October as stated in the post and possibly a new set of episodes possibly in 2012. At least thats what I think

Yeah, but having only 22 volumes is kinda a short seeing that fact that volume 20 is out.

I agree. The last volume was damn surprising, and ending it here...

There are some series that should end, and some that should continue. Right now, I'm wondering if Index NT would be better than Index. ZnT seems to not end when we hope it'll end, and end the moment we want it to continue...

Yeah the last volume made me start thinking that Saito was going to enter that last volume beast mode, I mean the runes on his chest mean something BIG is going to happen. Something that might stop him from going home permamently?

I think that for the first one, it's Japanese TV studios broadcasting overture. The second part is a summary/preview of what's upcoming.

I'm trying to translate that summary:

Louise and Saito have rescued Tabasa from the castle of...Ahanbura (WTH IS THAT?) and have returned to the magic academy. As usual, Saito gets mistreated by Louise even though she has a crush on her brave familiar (I don't know what omamori means aside "amulet", and can't find the way to insert it in the text). Suddenly, Saito and Louise have been ordered from Henrietta to leave the academy for a while and go to Romalia, along with Tiffania.

Too much efforts to translate the latter part...
