God reference in ZnT

Should all the reference to god(神)be automatically changed to Founder Brimir in the LN?
Winter's the time of the year,
when the cold chill the skin,
from the very within,
but you grasped my hand,
your eyes shedding a frozen tear.
Our eyes met,
and warmth filled the air.

Cause it's kinda awkward when Guiche was referring to the God in his heart but putting Founder Brimir there seems......

I'll try to post the translation of that chapter up in an hour. It's somewhere when Guiche tries to console Saito.
Please help me check if there's anything too strange. Thanks :)

Err, is it "god" in the raw or "founder brimir"?
If it says god, why can't we keep it?

It's "God" in the original, but later on he refers to not going against the Brimir Religion. I'd like to keep it as it flows much better that way.

In this case, I think it's fine to keep god.
"God usually refers to the single deity in monotheism or the monist deity in pantheism" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God). It's not only the "God" in Christianity, in Judaism, etc.
