Ok, last night me and my bro went out into the city (Atlanta, Ga Tech campus is right in the middle of it, practically) and we got to see all these people gathering for the second largest sci-fi/anime/fantasy convention in North America. There was supposedly a parade, but we missed it since it was earlier in the day. We did, however, get to see everyone walking between the hotels that were hosting the event. I saw some pretty weird costumes...a lot of guy dressed as women...a fat lady as Maid America (from The Tick)...I think I even saw someone dressed as a Touhou character.
Anyone heard of this? This is really the first time I've gone to see it, and I've been here four years.
