over here Easter's more of an eat-all-you-can excuse, particularly to those who religiously fasted - i.e. cut down on the meat - since ash wednesday..
at any rate, no reason to celebrate, for me at least..
just your regular day out of 365/366..

it isn't so bad in the big cities, given budget practicalities and religious differences, but in rural areas its something else. say a commune (
barangay in my vernacular) of a 100+ catholic families, all pitching in for this once-in-a-year fast ender.. and who's to say the men won't have booze?
start eating around lunchtime, soon after mass ends, and the merrymaking goes straight until dark,
fiesta spirit and all that..

If the Standard Issue Festive Headwear Protection Gear does not fit or is inappropriate for your faith of choice then Festive Equivalency Head Gear (FEHG) is acceptable
