Well, therebare so many things that cause you to change I don't know if that is true, but I certainly understand your point.

Well, some change simply by saying that 'this' or 'that' is too hard.

oh, one good thing about living by yourself, you can cook whatever you want! After re-experiencing my mum's cooking last year, i'm absolutely delight to be able to eat my own edible stuff. Don't get me wrong, love my mum, but only my Dad can eat her stuff!
Which i can only mildly describe as something chutlu would put on the table and it's applies to both Chinese and Western cooking with the exception to a good roast chicken/lamb since she is spared from tampering while it's in the oven!

So getting to cook my own stuff is a blessing!

Also great way to bring the ladies to my place for dinner, due to the high pace metropolitan Hong Kong life style here, rarely do any of the girls here eat at home (unless they live with family) or even know HOW TO COOK.

So big plus in their book, if you can cook a mean Shepard pie, paella or spaghetti! :p

Oh and one final thing about living by myself? I can paint one side of my apartment wall as a projector screen, turn off the lights and play ps3/watch anime/films on a glorious 238" widescreen 1080p HDMI fed projector screen! MINT!

Spoiler! :
