Re: How did you learn Japanese?
the trouble is that their is lots of villages... their is big school for the secondary... but not the primary
parent's don't want to travel 20-30 minutes to go in the bigger villages! the kids are little, at secondary a kid can come back at home alone or at least (se débrouiller) =D

Re: How did you learn Japanese?
The answer to that in the USA is generally to have school buses go out, pick the kids up in the morning, and take them back in the afternoon. For that reason, the so-called "consolidated" rural school districts tend to have all the schools together in a cluster, together with a bus-yard and maintenance facilities for the same. The general rule, even in the city, is that if the distance from the home to the school is more than a mile or so, the children from that home are allowed to use the bus. Some parents will drive their own kids anyway, but that's their choice. My wife never let our kids use the bus. She always drove them. But then again, she was always a worrier (and still is).Silimir wrote:the trouble is that their is lots of villages... their is big school for the secondary... but not the primaryparent's don't want to travel 20-30 minutes to go in the bigger villages! the kids are little, at secondary a kid can come back at home alone or at least (se débrouiller) =D

Re: How did you learn Japanese?
yea, I also thought about the buses, but the thing is that even though all the children of a lot of villages gather in one school, it will still not be enough of children! Also, where to built the big school... system and all that! And there's a lot of school! It is kinda already arranged like you are saying, put it must always be a question of proportion ^^ I can't explain more than I know, sorry ^^

Re: How did you learn Japanese?
Are you asking if any of us are native to Japan? (or of Japanese descent?)

Re: How did you learn Japanese?
For me, it was mostly self study. I still remember the dark day of opening the dictionary for every kanji I found, even some of the simple one like "勉強”
. Back then, I would have never even imagined being able to communicate well with a native speaker using Japanese

Tsuchiya Kouta's answer : 彼女はブスです

Re: How did you learn Japanese?
Don't worry, man, I don't even know what that still means. The first character seems to be a mis of 'hare' with 'strengh', while the second probably means 'strong'. And I honestly doubt it means 'strong as a hare'.kuroi_shinigami wrote:For me, it was mostly self study.
