What I don't like in baseball is that only one of five can go into the playoffs.

Well, I don't care for the Wildcard terms. I'd prefer the 4 best teams going, (best record). Not the leader and the one with the next best record.

In my case, I'd like the first AND the second get qualify, plus the best 3rd.

That's too many teams. I'd prefer two wildcard teams, that play each other, then they move on to play.

I like the fact that half of the teams qualify. More revenues, lus chances for a team like the Jays to win some games.

Yeah, but most teams wouldn't like that, nor would I. If you play against a team with a terrible record and 5 of your starters get hurt, you're just S.O.L.

That would be part of the game.

It already is part of the game though, every team meets each other in the regular season.

Sigh...I want to see the Jays in the series.

I can tell, Kira. Sadly, that won't happen this season.

I know. Yankees, Red Sox and Rays. I mean...

Yep, not gonna happen. The Jays are a decent team though, maybe next year.

Brett Lawrie is damn good.

In baseball, it takes a team, it's not football where a good QB and WR could win you the game, everyone has to click in baseball. (Well, pitcher and catcher, but no-hitters are insane)

You got Colby Rasmus, And obviously Jose Bautista.

And Derek Jeter is a guy who can make your team win by his own...even if he's a Yankees.
