as much anime i saw in my lifetime there are tons more to go that are licensed in america that i haven't seen.

Thats only for US? In some tiny island somewhere, as long as it is licensed elsewhere, it is considered licensed... So most animes are considered licensed despite not being available... Its one ass of a law dont ya think?
