ask them a question like... are you alive?
the liar should answer no, and the non liar should answer yes, right?
then ask the non liar the way to the non cannibal village
or something like that

The classic answer would be request one of them to take you to his village. Since the cannibal that always tell lies will take you to the other non-cannibal village and the other will take you to the safe village anyway...... That is, if the two of them are not from the same village. Plus you didn't specify which village the lier come from.

I would just radio the HQ and ask direction ;P

the answer is quite simple......

use the knife... stab him..... then ask the other person.... "did i stab him"? just wait the answer from that person yes or no.....
