Personally, I won't regard animes as cartoons, but if that's what you take it as, you suck.
Just joking, man. Welcome to the big family. We are definitely in need of editors, so it'll be great if you be an editor too. I heard Jasou needs one editor...pm him or me if you're interested. Anyway, animes have their own art, and the script or the plot is rather a minor(?) facet. That's why I'd love to watch the animated versions of light novels even when I have already read the novel. Some animes are unsuitable for some ages, so while you may claim some animes being too dumb or childish, you may also be uninterested in some animes because they're just too sophisticated for you to understand. Well yeah, call me childish or what, that's the last thing you'll do before you lose your chastity (?)
Losing my chastity? Been there, done that, nearly traumatized my partner and we luckily didn't get the baby.
*cringes* Did I just make the anime/cartoon comparison. *bangs head against wall* My younger sister must have gotten to me more than I thought, because it's the same thing I used to chew her out for. Yeah, I suck for that comment. You're totally right about that.
I'm not saying there aren't any good anime. It's just that when you get past the 'dumb/childish', and have waded through the series that almost solely consist of pantyshots/ginormous jiggly b**b**s with little to no ('original') plot there's little left among the remaining ones I haven't watched before in the 9 years I've been at it.
And while rewatching some old series is nice every now and then, and good 'sophisticated' series are still being aired, my interest for that particular medium simply has wittled down a lot as a result. I haven't stopped watching entirely, but I just don't enjoy it as much as I used to.
, hence the 'growing out of it' part that I could have worded a lot better.
Anyway, back to business. Doesn't Jasou edit for Pet Girl of Sakura Dorm? I Can't say I've read much of the series -the first two chapters only-, although that could be changed. Currently I have my eyes set on another project though, so if I decide to do it, it will unfortunately probably be somewhere in the not so close future.
