another odd thing is that my work isn't "acidic" like. it's actually pretty standard in my opinion. It doesn't look contemporary (nutty collage sculptures or just throwing random paint on canvas) but many time people remark my work very "beautiful" and simple. Each of my work have heavy content under a simple context. So if you look at my work it doesn't look like a madman did it. I think mad but I do philosophical pieces.

ha ha i guess you didn't get the reference. back in world war II submarine used rubber matte to absorb sonar so they won't appear on the enemy's radar. So imagine two enemy submarine both sharing the same technology. they wouldn't appear on each other radars. in relation with this metaphor I'm saying while we share our banters on the oceanic BT Forum, we know relatively nothing of each other except you're my daughter.

No alter ego or anything, my mother is well aware of my interest in the Japanese culture. She's not against it nor does she attempt to critique me about it, long before I enlisted I had long brown hair stopping at the end of my shoulders and bangs roughly over my eyes. Took the time to flirt with women and achieve my goals so that's probably why they were never bothered by it.

I think the most embarrassing thing on my half might be bringing an anime dvd, manga, or light novel to a gathering outside of my comfort zone. I remember feeling some guilt watching anime at night at my buddies place and he given me a questionable look but at that time I didn't know what torrenting or streaming was, so I had to meet the schedule to watch the once a week update. My friends told me that there would be more trouble in my life if others knew of my interest.

Nowadays I keep my interest within the room and don't really take it out. Only selected individuals would actually know who I really am and that's less than 10 people I personally know really well.

My parents don't know, in my case...though there are some times where I get the feeling that they know it, but don't care to ask. If they ask me, I'd say yes. However,I highly doubt they'd criticize me, since my parents were watching a set of Conan 52-eps a few years ago.
