I'll update this post as it goes, but right now we have:

Texans(3) v Ravens(2)
Steelers(5) or Broncos(4) v Patriots(1)

Saints(3) v 49ers(2)
Falcons(5) or Giants(4) v Packers(1)

Heh...shame that Lions didn't get pass.

As a side note, it's confirmed that Clots will draft Luck.

Yeah, I would like to have seen the Lions go for the Super Bowl, but we will have to wait at least another year for that to happen. There are just too many good teams this year.

They've got a good QB for the next 10 years...and a pretty good D-Line.

You are assuming that nobody gets injured or leaves the team. It seems that they have a decent coach as well. The problem with the Lions has typically been discipline and offense. Their defense traditionally has been good, but their offense has never been great.

They've got the most deadly WR in the TD zone though. I hope that Jahvid Best could turn into a key element.

They have had these kinds of combos before though, and it never really panned out. I remember when Barry Sanders was their RB, and everyone was crazy about him, but it always fizzled because he was basically a one-man show. They need a good RB, TE, and WR at least to give them some options.

For a TE, did the Falcons sign Tony Gonzalez yet? If he wants to get a club elsewhere (which I doubt though), the Lions should try.

I do not know. I do not keep up with football that closely like you do, kira. All I know is that seeing the Lions did so well, they are only going to get middle-of-the-stack picks at best for the draft this next season.

Well, it'll show how the scouting staff of the Lions are good. I mean, having the 1st/2nd pick, it's easy to guess who draft.

In the past, the scouting staff seemed to do their job. It is just that for some reason players always played poorly while they played for the Lions but had the best seasons of their lives after they immediately left.

Denver upset. (That was surprising, honestly.)

(4) Denver v (1) Patriots
(3) Houston v (2) Ravens

(3) N.O. v (2) S.F.
(4) Giants v (1) G.B.

All wild card teams have been eliminated.

As I've predicted. Though I didn't get good for the Giants. Oh well, 3/4.

I'm going for...
Broncos over Pats. (sentimental, obviously)
Ravens over Texans.
49ers over N.O. (Best offence vs. Best defence, though 49ers have an extra week of rest.)
Packers over Giants. (Though Manning is a Manning.)

I was certainly amazed at how it played out.

Really depressed my Steelers lost, but so long as Denver beats the Patriots, I don't really care.
