Maybe it's because the translator's make it more interesting? Or it could also be because Japan is so creative, so that even if something is good, they hate it because it's not excellent

Mx0 was pretty good, but I wonder what were the comments.

It's one of those things we will never know about.

Which comments? From the Japanese readers? Publishers? Who knows... It can't have been overly popular among fans because, if it had, it wouldn't have been axed, would it? Although I bet there was a small group of fans that was all the more fanatic about it, only to have failed, in the end.

And I just remembered one of the ecchi mangas I quite like: Trinity Seven. Even though the translation manages to entertain me from time to time as well...

It's not only about popularity. It's about competition. Remember that Mx0 was serialized in WSJ.

Btw, Kagami no Kuni no Harisugawa ending in issue #11. Work harder, Kanou sensei.

Whatever he does seems to be doomed to failure.

A shame, I rather liked Pretty Face.

Kagami no Kuni no Harisugawa seems to be getting worse... Pretty face was nice. I also like his oneshot L∞P, however not eechi.
I know nothing about Trinity Seven

I don't want to say too much, but the protagonist is hilarious. He's a pervert, he's open about it, and he's not retarded, leading to hilarious boke-tsukkomi-routines for pages on end. And a lot of stuff gets lampshaded (Protag: "Maybe this was meant to be a love comedy?" - "Seems like it. But isn't it a good thing?"). Actually, just read it yourself. You might laugh your ass off, I know I did when I first found it...

Also, there's magic, and the system behind it seems well thought-out while being really open, which is quite a bonus for me. (though the magic book is actually even more intriguing... great character for at least one reason)

I find both the protag in TS and Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko similar and hilarious.

I didn't quite enjoy that as much as her previous series she did.

Well the author did mention that the idiot who wrote a premise that couldn't be expanded was himself

So what? I think it's better than artificially dragging it out. Though I do wonder if it didn't get axed instead. Some developments feel... odd in retrospect.

Yea... It does. I really did not like how the story just dropped like that.
