Who keeps updating Baka-Updates?

Seriously, who's doing that? None of those projects have had any substantial updates in over a month...

As the whole manga update system works on every user can submit a release item, and that's only privy to admin staff at the site.

I'm not sure about Manga-updates, but for Manganews, I think someone from AQS or Kawaii-Heavens was one of the updaters. When we met up to work on the ZnT project in the channel, someone from one of those groups would lurk and update the site when we released a chapter. This was when we officially released chapters for that project before switching to the update and fix method we normally use.

Plus the official announcement of published scripts have more or less been abandoned since translators can't be bothered.

mind you, all they have to do is check the recent change and edit history to know what happens where.
