...and your point is...?

Personally, I would rather see these kinds of terrorist locked up for life with no privileges, appeals, etc. by military tribunal or dead. Anybody who kills innocent civilians and bystanders loses their right to life and rights as a human being. If we are talking about $10 million on a terrorist who killed a Chabad rabbi and his family in cold blood, I think that is a really small price to pay.

I think that we delude ourselves into thinking about the feelings and emotions of these terrorists too much. That is none of our business; we are not their shrinks. We need to be concerned about whether they did the crime or not and how it should be punished if they did do it. Furthermore, we need to be concerned about the mentality, sets of beliefs, and worldviews that form these terrorists to make sure that they do not sprout up anymore.

I cannot help but triple post on this one.

Building a Second Titanic.

Making Jurassic Park Real.

Yes, it is the same guy. First, he wants to make the Titanic II. Second, he wants to clone a dinosaur like in Jurassic Park. Yeah...something tells something is not right here...This is almost like putting Biblical things in anime; it is almost always going to blow up in your face and get people killed in the process. Call me crazy, but, since when was trying something that failed massively again ever a good idea? I do not mean failure as in "Oops," but "!#@$!@$!@#!!!" failure. They say that repeating something over and over again while expecting a different result is one of the definitions of insanity. This just might be hitting that mark.

This story is about as bizarre as you can get while making the most absurd philosophical questions come to life.

Well, to start, I do not think that we can blame the man one way or another, especially given the result. He was able to save both of their lives. The only thing that we might want to say is that they were all culpable for not wearing life jackets. This is one of the first rules of marine safety, especially when all parties are inexperienced. Secondly, if I understood correctly, the wife was at fault for standing up in the boat, which is a HUGE no-no. So, really, in a sense, the man is not to blame for who he saved first. I think that putting the blame on the man and his judgment in a time of emergency misses the point completely. The actual lesson is that you should not go out onto the open waters without a life jacket and someone who is experienced and trained in case of such situations.

I already knew about the building of a second Titanic... It is SO a nice idea! People are scare because of the tragedy, but who never wanted to cross the oceans in luxury boat?
