Eric Whitacre is a famous classical composer and conductor, who is known for his choral and band literature. Over the past few years, he has been working on a "Virtual Choir" project that takes YouTube videos of people singing his compositions. Those who pass the auditions are included in his final video, which is a compilation of hundreds to thousands of people singing from around the world. So far, there are three of them.

Yeah, it's pretty intense, one of my friends was in it for the past two years. The method of it being done is even more crazy.

For me, seeing that I was a band geek up through college and still am a music aficionado, this kind of thing is just absolutely breathtaking. The amount of work to put something like that must be incredible, especially seeing that just one little tiny error could throw everything else off. Personally, I have been a fan of Eric Whitacre's since high school when I first played him piece "October," which I believe that I have posted here before. In case that I have or that you want to hear it again, here is for posterity.
