Re: Milking the Cow
If they were going to milk anyone, I would think that it would be HolyCow.

I can't decide whether that's a statement, a pun, or both rolled together in one

Re: Milking the Cow
More of a pun than a statement. Frankly, milking a person in the literal sense outside of what is natural just sounds so wrong and painful. Moving on now...

Another example of milking the cow: ToHeart2 AnotherDays.ainsoph9 wrote:More of a pun than a statement. Frankly, milking a person in the literal sense outside of what is natural just sounds so wrong and painful. Moving on now...
I understand why they made ToHeart2 X-Rated (to satisfy teh H-lovers out there), but they seriously should've stopped there. What's the point of making a whole new game with mainly background chars (who should've stayed background chars, in my opinion) from the other ToHeart2's? Leaf may as well've named the new ToHeart2, ToHeart3.

Re: Milking the Cow
That kind of reminds me of why on earth they came out with so many Street Fighter 2 games before they moved onto Street Fighter 3, etc. Anyhow, I never did find out if a Street Fighter 1 existed in the first place...

Re: Milking the Cow
I never played FF past the SNES. But FF1&3(NES) are still two of my favorite RPGs ever.

Quick question about FF: Does each game have its own independent storyline, or does each game build upon the last so that you'd have to play them all to know what's going on(like KH does)?

...I can't believe you don't know this, but most FF games are independent, storyline-wise.Hiiragi Kagami1 wrote:Quick question about FF: Does each game have its own independent storyline, or does each game build upon the last so that you'd have to play them all to know what's going on(like KH does)?
There are a couple sequels (FFX-2 and the FFVII games come to mind) and the Tactics games and FFXII take place in the same universe, Ivalice.
Most of the games, however, are totally independent. They have gone downhill after the SNES era, though.
Supposedly, FFXIII will be the last original FF game for a while, however. They might be remaking FFVII for PS3 with actual good graphics, which would rock.

Re: Milking the Cow
obvious one is naruto.
I think what shock me the most is how many chinese people love one piece. usually where I'm from there is a deep-hatred for the japanese and would not touch their stuff, despite being hypocrites and using their technology. alot of young people loves one piece.

Re: Milking the Cow
what I love what one piece did is that is a story that binds people. that we can all laugh together and enjoy our favorite character. it went beyond the racial barrier between japanese and chinese. more stories need to do that.ainsoph9 wrote:

I have not seen One Piece yet, but I know what you mean about the whole binding issue.
