I watched the movie yesterday. It was really good.

Also, isn't the novel like 40 years old? I recall reading the wiki article on the book . . .

Like i said, it is a sequel to the "girl who control time" because the main character is the niece of the girl in the 1st book.

Well, that's what life is about - learning to understand what's good and bad for you. And that's the idea of this movie. And time travel is just a cool, convenient plot device

Then again... I've watched / read so much of this stuff I could probably recite the entire storyline just from the title.

Sigh...

NEEDS MORE SEX, VIOLENCE, ROBOTS, AND GIANT LASER BEAMS!
Don't forget giant orbital beam cannons. 8) If thats what you meant by giant laser beams, you put it completely wrong! They HAVE to be orbital, and from a cannon.
I... I... I regressed! I can't find anything more with GOCs!!!! T_T

*hangs up a sign saying, "Will watch for laser beams"*
...Tg...g.g........... And Kol Ravensabbey cried,
..g...B...g........@.. "In Armok's name!!!!"
T...T..B..g........... And there was bloodshed.

Giant golden beams of power-restricting lazers from God-like golden beings with future seeing dimensional travelling powers are all the rage now.

That somehow reminds me of the alien guys from Fafner, only they didn't shoot giant gold beams and they could read minds instead of seeing the future.
