It's a conspiracy that I have the novel in it's Painfully Depressing Form!

I did buy the translated novel too, though, and really enjoyed reading it. It's surprisingly thought-provoking for a simple light novel, and it does hit the right nerves at times. Depressing at times, but still fun to read nevertheless.

so we concluded that

anime has different ending
manga has different ending
novel has different ending

in your opinion which is the best of the three?

also the novel is one volume right?

The novel is only one volume, which means that the anime has more filler than a coconut cream pie. I have not read the manga yet, but between the anime and the novel, I would say that neither is necessarily "better." For once, the anime and the novel just really were different flavors of the same thing, kind of like the difference between the steak at the 5-star restaurant on 4th and Main and the 5-star restaurant on Chamber and Hilltop. They are both 5-star restaurants that offer that same thing at the same quality, but the steaks were made from different cows. That is about all of the difference here.

Those are made-up street names and corners. I do live in a city, but only one of them applies to my city to my knowledge.

Well, that is what most people think who like outside of the United States or on the Eastern or Western coasts of the United States. So, basically, the center of the United States is perceived to be this huge black hole of sorts.

Is not a blackhole. We got Michigan and Morgans.

Michigan is the epicenter of that black hole, namely Flint and downtown Detroit, the armpits of the universe. I think Lansing is not a far cry from them either, at least politically speaking.
