TGM, you watching this? I picked it up a couple weeks ago. As far as I played in the game (up to the start of chapter 16) the two seem pretty divergent. And the foreshadowing was so heavy it spoiled a bit of the game for me. I'll probably wait till I beat the game before I watch the rest of it.

When Zero Punctuation was raving on as usual about how much he hates JRPGs, I must admit that I was agreeing with him when he said that the only reason why the protagonist became a squad leader was because he was smart enough to bring his own tank.

Seriously, if some soldier came to me with his own tank, I'd promote him too.

Do they have any plans to port the game?

Port it to what? I doubt it though, it came out more than a year ago. Unless this anime really takes off, I don't think anything more will be done with Valkyria.

If we wait for around 5 years, we should be able to play it on an emulator. Hehehe...

Here's hoping the PSP gets something from PS3 besides more FF stuff. >_>

It's ok. I think the series' picking up its action and plot finally (haven't played the game here). My tear glands worked on me when
Spoiler! :
Isara died!!!! So much drama going on there and it was handled nicely too, what with Rosie finally accepting Isara but only to lose her too soon. And the Alicia getting through to Welkin's bit in Welkin's house is gold (plus Welkin crying). My impression of this series has now raised a notch.

I was rather surprised when Faldio just blurted out that Alicia:
Spoiler! :
is a Valkyrian after being showed one episode of doing some research and the chance coincidence of his seeing Alicia's Ragnite emitting light. I suppose I was hoping for that secret to be revealed like a bombshell, not like a whisper.
