I did that once when I somehow managed to sleep with a... I don't know how the hell to describe it but suffice to say half of my face had a lot of little holes...

Not really it confuses a little as you are not entirely sure if the word really exists. Similar words end up being a pain in the pass, one of the best examples is... similar which is written exactly the same and even pronounced somewhat close.
