Who is ready for the 1st part of the 4 NGE Movie this summer? cause i freakin excited that it is finally coming.
i watch one episode when i was a kid, got interested it two years ago and watched all of it and fell in love with it. prayed for more. later after my birthday that year my prayers was answered with this. after two years of patience is coming. happy happy

Hmmm, FMA is first, and I actually kind of hated that one. I think I'll check out NGE, I'll have to obtain it before summer break so I can abuse the fast connections here at school.
On September 9, 2006, Gainax confirmed a new animated film series called Rebuild of Evangelion, consisting of four movies to be released in 2007 and 2008. The first three movies will be an alternate retelling of the TV series (including new scenes, settings, backgrounds, characters), and the fourth movie will be a completely new conclusion to the story.

In September 2006, the October edition of the Japanese anime magazine Newtype first reported that the new cinema series "Rebuild of Evangelion" would be released in the summer of 2007. [1] On September 9, 2006, GAINAX's official website confirmed that "Rebuild of Evangelion" will consist of four movies. The first three movies will be an alternate retelling of the TV series (including many new scenes, settings, backgrounds, characters), and the fourth movie will be a completely new conclusion to the story; the series is intended to be accessible to non-fans[2]. Hideaki Anno will write the scenario for the first movie and will be the general director and manager for the entire project. Kazuya Tsurumaki will direct the movies while Yoshiyuki Sadamoto will provide character designs and Ikuto Yamashita will provide mechanical designs. Shinji Higuchi will provide storyboards for the first movie. It is reported that the first film will launch in September 1st, 2007, the second in January 2008, and the two final movies will be shown together in Summer 2008.

Intresting. I wasin't a huge fan of NGA, but it would be nice to have a conclusion to that story. Some more details on the side goes of a story never hurt either. ^^
