My vote goes for Maebara, probably the most annoying idiot to ever appear in anime. His psychoticness in Onikakushi-hen was annoying (How dare you clamp Rena!

), his 'Nakama' talk was cheesy (and annoying), he's lolicon, and he shoots little girls for fun

But Shirou and Shinji definitely come up close... >.<

Shinn from GSD was a whiney punk biatch even at the end of the series. If they didn't have the origional GS chars in there as well I probably wouldn't have liked it.

Is it strange that 4 of the characters there have names starting with S (Sergay, Shirou, Shinn, Shinji)? More if you count Jun (Sakurada), Izumi (Shion), Yuuji (Sakai)

I've only seen three of those anime listed. And I hate two of those chatacters equally. Koizumi is a great guy compared to Jun and Maebara.

Mmm, I think I'm going to say Keiichi. Just because even when he's being a killer he's STILL lame.

Koizumi at least has some... quirks. All the other guys seem to have very similar whiney, annoying qualities though. Guy anime protagonists need some serious levelling up in my opinion.

Itsuki isn't nearly as bad as the other characters mentioned. Don't hate just because he's gay for Kyon.

Anyways, I voted Shinji from NGE. Whiny wussy from the start to finish. The movies made me hate him more.
