Here are some other good sites:
Leeching:
http://www.animeyume.org (tends to update rarely but good for batch torrents)
http://www.isohunt.com (use if cannot find anywhere else pretty much)
Info:
http://www.animenfo.com (not as good as ANN but tends to update quicker and have more obscure things sometimes)
http://www.manganews.net (find info about manga and download if not licensed)
Streaming:
http://www.stormberry.tv
http://www.crunchyroll.com (open a free account, but to get better quality and not have to worry about seeing the evil "Bandwidth Exceeded" message, pay up)
http://www.keiichianimeforever.com (has a bunch of random anime stuff)
Purchasing:
http://www.justmanga.com (offers legit manga and anime cheaper than the cover price always!)
I also suggest joining some of the mailing lists for some of the licensors and distributors out there. Sometimes, you can learn about some awesome deals. For example, http://www.rightstuf.com is having a HUGE sale right now for Geneon-licensed anime. You can get, I think, 10 DVDs for $50 or 25 for $100 on select products (which is many good things like entire series). You do the math on this one.
HUGE SALE + CHEAP ANIME = AWESOMENESS
