so summer is here...not for me actually it been raining hard for the past two weeks, no lemonade sun for me..anyway here is my list:

Definite:
Canaan- creators from Tsukihime and F/S Night? Hell yeah
Umineko no Nakue Koro ni- creators of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni? Hell yeah
Summer Wars- the same team behind "the girl who leapt through tine" and same character designer from NGE series and Superflat animations similar to takashi murakami's work? Hell yeah

Potentials:
Tokyo Magnitude 8.0- the production looks good and I like the idea of earthquakes as a plot device
Bakemonogatari- hmm heard some good things about the book

Maybes:
Princess lover- just another harem thing to watch
Umi Monogatari- I like stories that takes place around islands
Kanamemo- not much is reveal about it
Needless- not too much info either but I get a gurren laggan vibe (then again I was wrong about Basqaush)

Besides those animes and the visual novels i am working on can anybody recommend any completed anime series for me to watch?

Should mention that NEEDLESS is nothing like Gurren Lagann, despite the art style.

And a recommended series...? Hmm.

Watched Azumanga yet?

JC Staff turned Azumanga from a gag 4koma into something with MEANING.

Hell yeah it's worth watching.

Yoshiyuki Sadamoto? Sweet. I came across this title a few days back and was wondering something across these lines: "Will these be relevant to my interests?" And when I saw Sadamoto's name... well, I'm in for it.

Wait wait.

Is Canaan by the studio for F/SN and Tsukihime or is it another Natsu story?

is another natsu story supposedly based on a bonus from the famous 428: Fūsasareta Shibuya de visual novel for the Wii. i have to wait for that to translate since it looks like one of the best real-life VN i seen. I heard is heavy on the Japanese language so it gonna take a very long time.

anyway here are the past studios that work on his previous work:

J.C. Staff: Tsukihime
Studio Deen- Fate/Stay Night
P.A. Works- Canaan.
Ufotable- Kara no Kyōkai: the only company i respect that really portrays Nasu work the best, the rest bleh. then again can't really complain since is a high quality film budget compare to a 13 - 26 series.

Canaan is based off of the scenario in 428 written by Nasu. He has nothing to do with the actual show, pretty sure.

I think the reason why people in the world are all over for Canaan would be because of Nasu's and Takeuchi's involvement in it. 'Nuff said, aye?

Well, as I think of it, I'm also in for it too. Curiosity has kill the ca-- I mean, has gotten me here and there and now this.

My source

I hate summer. Why?

Because it's hot and there's NOTHING to watch...

With that out of the way...

The good:
Umineko and S&W 2 are must watch shows
The sooner we get the Negi vs. Rakan fight animated the better 8)
No GONZO this time
Lots of Hocchan this season

The bad:
Minami kinda died for me...
NEVER EVER trust Madhouse will do a decent job, ever
It took them that long to make a Utawarerumono OVA but barely half a year for an Aka-iro OVA? (that Nanoha ripoff did not deserve to win)
They need to stop trying to milk the empty cow known as Higurashi
Still waiting for a Clover Heart's and/or Gore Screaming Show anime
Also waiting for decent subs for Zetsubou (streaming is for noobs)

Utawarerumono OVA was meh.

BTW, if you plan on watching it, there is straight up nudity. Personally, I think it's retarded to put breasts in anime, but whatever floats their boats, eh?

Actually, I change my mind.

It was terrible. Don't even bother.

One certain title sparked off the start of the season. Catching it now.
