Finding that drawing of Kagami and Tsukasa among a few others, I got to thinking of whether there are more pictures of anime characters drawn as if the character was a real person standing next to you. I also thought that someone could perhaps make a living off of doing something like that. Anyhow, if anyone finds anything along these lines, could they please post them here directly or via a link? Thanks!

lol go on to sankaku complex for that, there must be plenty of those

here is one famous example:

The problem is that sankaku complex is a NSW site, and I would prefer to avoid those. However, if someone would be kind enough to send some pics from there that are safe for work, that would be fine as well.

you know you could always cosplay hunt them since there are a few treasures among them. oh tifa

Yeah, but I hate most cosplay because the people who do it are often bad at it. I think Genshiken explains cosplay ideals pretty well. Unfortunately, most fans do not know how to follow those and completely ignore the essence owed to the character. So, for me, looking through all of those pics would be torture.

man i forgotten everything about Genshiken said. maybe i should re-read it

I believe it is a Madarame quote that refers to how Oono does her cosplay. Oono herself has some comments about cosplay when she is having a hard time thinking of what to dress as at the next big event.

More or less, just a little less risque. From an artistic point of view, it is well-done though, but from the view of whether I would show it to little children, it is well-done like a steak becoming a hockey puck. Thanks for finding this though! I hope that I can keep finding more of these kinds of drawings. I will upload a couple of images later.
