I'm actually one for just playing through one route (or the main) and then stopping, and putting it aside. Then when I'm really depressed, I'll start playing it, and take all my anger out on it.

So, it's a game like Drug. That's cool, I enjoy those games.
Spoiler! :
When I played Demonbane, I made her teleport him back to Earth...even though that's not the true ending, I refused to accept it.
But the true ending in Demonbane is so much more awesome....besides, both Al's endings are canon anyway....seeing as they both continue in Kishin Hishou..

WUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT. Explain yourself.

I need to play through the true ending, but yet....my last save is when it's the part with the Navy.... :? (The one before they start firing.) I can't remember the timeline very well, but I think that's like 2 hours out. :| Maybe I'll get around to playing it again. I cried soo much when they met back up again.

The one with the Navy when they engage Cthulhu? That's Al's no?

Yeah, that was Al's route, but there are 2 choices you can make something along the lines of
Spoiler! :
Stay in Space forever
Sacrifice yourself to send Kurou home.

I chose the bottom one.

Either way though, they reunite in the end.
Know if Kishin is getting a English translation? (On VNDB it says nothing of it. :( )

Nothing so far.....

The Japanese in the Demonbane games (or hell most Nitro+ games) is quite easy though...

The one where they go full Elder God is the true end

Watch for Shining Trapezohedron and Demonbane Atheleta Aeternum....that's the most awesome ending in any mech series I've ever seen...

Yeah, I got to the true end then. Maybe. I don't even know. Not gonna bother with it. To busy playing Grief Syndrome on this huge TV and running.
I might try my hand at it, it needs to be baby Japanese though.

BOT.....there isn't anything. Someone discuss something.

See, I've eaten a bowl of cereal and ran 12 miles over 2 days. I'm not really in the "mindset" to translate. However, I'm going to run now. XD

I'll edit when I'm back as to why I shouldn't drive my car.

(And I have more VN's to beat.)

Mmm, my favorite genre will always be pure love.

And, I hear a lot of people say that games would be better without the events. That's where I say that it's a bad eroge.

Event scenes shouldn't be just there for fun. They should be there as a part of the story, to advance it, to amplify whatever emotions you feel for the people involved.

純愛ってくすりだ。そして、わたしはもう中毒させられた。
Nani?! There's nothing better than a well-made nukige, now is there?! Though it corrupts your vocabulary... ほらほら、あんたのカウパーだらけのチンカスたっぷりの勃起デカマラち○ぽをだして?☆それからー、あたしのメス豚ケツマ○コにぶち込んで、くっさーいザーメンミルクを沢山ピュッピュして~☆
I understood only 2 or 3 katakana in there.

But enough to be take your point.

Well, I can't read Japanese whatsoever right now, however responding to all the English...

I suppose my real life has completely tainted my view of the matter. I just can't agree that simply because a game has needless event scenes, that it's a bad eroge. I do agree that good eroge always have reasonable event scenes, but there can be good ones that have that random scene in there just for the fans. The last two eroge I played (that were new to me) were A drug that makes you dream (Yume.....[my brain is dead]) and Swan Song, which only had scenes that aided the story. However, I suppose the first time I played an eroge I held skip, unlocked the scenes, and ..... Then I actually played them, so that makes me just view the scenes as there, not necessarily as part of the story line. (My eyes have since been opened, but I just can't agree needless scenes = bad eroge.)

I can agree that Pure Love is a good genre.

No...the one I talk about is the true end to Kishin Hishou, not Zanma Taisei

I'm lost. But, it's a happy lost feeling.

I ragequit a Drug that makes you dream, because I kept having flashbacks to bullying. :?

Then I tried to play it again....and just came up with this conclusion "Eroge- refractory periods have no bearing on us!"

Well necroing this back...

Finished playing quite a few VNs by now. And these are those I would highly recommend.

Fate/Stay Night, Tsukihime, Muv Luv Alternative, True Remembrance, Princess Waltz, Planetarium, G-Senjou no Maou, Utawarerumono.

All of those are pretty much amazing and anyone that is interested in VNs should at least give them a try. There are probably others I forgot to mention but these are the top.

What do you think of Princess Waltz? I haven't played it but I heard is lacking in the character and story development.
