hmm just finished true remebrance. Conclusion:

Mixed

Pros: Love the music. Been played at appropriate times. The story I find to be original and well-told

Cons: I know is a director's cut so some art improve and such but I really didn't like the sprites, despite being 6 years old and designed singlehandly. Many exclaims that this is a emotional tales. I didn't feel any. I felt it was a intrguing story but it did tug any heart strings. Though it does a good job exploring the human psyche.

I especially liked the game. Especially Kenji makes the game worth playing since he was hilarious dialogue and even a stunning conclusion. I miss the description of his character in your summary and review section is a bit short.I think it will take several years before the full game comes out even when it is now all they do recolors of Act 1.

Well since I just finished the game I will express my views of them. Spoilerific:

Shizune:
Spoiler! :
She was my least favorite in terms of romance. Didn't felt any spark or as much drama there was with the other girl. Though I enjoy her aggressiveness and her father's behavior
Emi:
Spoiler! :
Emi was spunk. Someone very enjoyable to hang out but as you learn of her more, her stubborn can be bothersome but understandable. She is very assertive in her romance and breaking the troupes she has of her. Her determination is quite admirable to never give up and to always look forward.
Rin:
Spoiler! :
Rin was quite difficult. She would be the most difficult to have a relationship with but the issues she deals with, her incapability to communicate and express herself, the identity crisis is something I and everyone have dealt with. To me she wasn't the strange art girl you know in school, she was just Rin. To me I felt most sympathize with her in terms of being able to be understood and the frustration she and Hisao shares. As an artist our works is always up to interpretation, align with our intention or not.
Lilly:
Spoiler! :
Peaceful. This is the impression it gives off and I adore it all the more. Lilly is the most romantic of the girls but at times to be idealistic despite the subtle flaw in her caring motherly nature. While I'm been consider the "Rin" of my school, I do not mind if I met a well-behave woman who isn't crazy about parties or such.
Hanako
Spoiler! :
Definitely the cutest arc of the game. Her timid and quiet nature, with uncovering progress of her past is smooth and natural. The way it progress at its own pace is what allows me to sympathized with her. She has ton of psychological issues so is important to help her in her own way. I also like how Lilly address how strong Hanako can be. She still dealt with life before meeting Lilly nor Hisao.
While is not the greatest VN with the craziest plot and twists, is the one I felt to be most tasteful. All the girls, while fictional beings symbolizing different themes, felt to me very real. They do not leave the impressions of troupes rather they all have personalities, all whom I can sympathized with. I enjoy their interaction and uncovering Hisao's philosophy of life. I also admired how this game makes me want to be a better person.

I uninstalled uTorrent from my computer, and I plan on keeping it that way. I am trying to get away from torrenting and things of the sort. This is just a personal decision for my own sake, nothing more, nothing less.

Torrenting itself is perfectly fine, it is just a method of downloading things that makes it easier to down parts of things instead of downloading a huge .zip file when you only want some small thing inside, easier to restart downloads and share things with other people. It is what you choose to download with torrents that is the problem. Don't take it out on the technology itself :\

DDL just makes everything much less convenient, and it still doesn't take away the problem that you can find the same things you can torrent on ddl.

What you're doing is like saying "people use the internet to watch porn and plot to kill the president, so I'm not going to use the internet"..... The technology itself is not what you should blame or stop using...

Please hold your horses there for a moment. Also, what you are saying, I never said nor meant to imply. As I said, this is for my own sake and purposes, which means that I am not condemning nor condoning anyone who chooses to use bittorrent. I am simply stepping away from it. That is all. Let me just say that I am trying to do some changes in my life, and this is just one of them, for better or for worse.

HexOmega wrote:Second, I'm sorry you chose Shizune's route. She is one of the best characters, but has one of the worst arcs and most poorly written content. It's a shame really. Most people agree that the Hanako and Lilly routes were the best written.
I kind of chose her arbitrarily because she seemed to have the most natural route of all of the characters, especially since you meet her first. I am kind of bummed that there is no Misha route, but I am kind of guessing why without going all the way through Shizune's route. Also, Shizune's route thus far is alright, but I think that some explanation is necessary concerning Hisao's actions and what is going on in Shizune's head.

I am probably going to go for Emi's route next, only because it is going to be easy to reach from Shizune's route end.

FYI, I finished Shizune's route completely. I am now going for Emi's route, only because it is the easiest to access from Shizune's route.

Finished all route's and liked Hanako and Lily's

You get the feel to be stronger from the Hanako arc
and the peace from Lily arc

Other arc's are not compatible with me

Shizune and Rin (especially Rin) are incredibly confusing
and Emi's arc is a bit complicated , it's like a tug war for me

nevertheless, they are all heartwarming

the music's good too.

ohyeah, they removed leluoch from the classmates right?
also, wish Miki was a heroine too.
